1. The Vision: Noise-Filtered Trading

Most retail traders fail because they react to market "noise"—random price flickers that trigger emotional decisions. Uncharted Investments uses a Smoothed Execution Engine to ensure we only move when the trend is mathematically confirmed.

The Heikin-Ashi Advantage
Our candles use a recursive formula to average price action, creating exceptionally smooth trend visualization.

  • Bullish Trend: Large green bodies with zero lower wicks
  • Bearish Trend: Large red bodies with zero upper wicks
The Benefit: We ignore minor pullbacks, staying in winning trades longer and avoiding "fake-out" entries.

2. The Core Strategy: Ashimoto 3-5-7 + Regime Awareness

Our software operates on a strict three-step confirmation process before any member of the Fleet enters a position:

  1. The Momentum Gate: The MACD (12, 26, 9) histogram must flip from negative to positive (for longs) or positive to negative (for shorts).
  2. The Trend Pivot: Price must achieve a Heikin-Ashi Close above (for longs) or below (for shorts) the EMA 20.
  3. The Tiered Exit: Profits are banked at 3% and 5%, with a 7% Trailing Stop and a 3% Hard Stop-Loss.

The algorithm now identifies Market Regimes (Bull, Bear, Neutral, or High Volatility). In "High Volatility" states, the system may automatically pause 3-5-7 entries to preserve capital until stable mathematical confirmation returns.

3. The NAV Pricing & Expense Ledger New

Uncharted now operates with a professional Net Asset Value (NAV) model. Your dashboard displays a single "Fund Price" that represents your stake in the Fleet.

NAV = (Total Fleet Equity - Accrued Liabilities) / Total Shares
  • Amortized Expenses: To prevent sudden price drops, large annual LLC costs (Legal filings, Data feeds, Hosting) are "smoothed" across 365 days.
  • Fairness: This ensures that members pay for the software and overhead only for the exact days they are active in the Fleet.

4. The Global Emergency Orchestrator New

While you retain an Individual Kill Switch, the Managers (Erick and Scott) provide an extra layer of fiduciary protection through the Global Kill Switch.

  • Manager Authority: During "Black Swan" events or technical failures, Managers can trigger a fleet-wide liquidation to cash.
  • Immediate Transparency: Upon execution, you will receive an automated SMS/Email detailing the specific Reason for Action captured in our logs.
Dual Protection: Your personal Kill Switch gives you individual control, while the Global Kill Switch provides collective protection during extreme market events.

5. The Digital Vault & Compliance New

Transparency is the foundation of our 50/50 Manager-Managed LLC.

The Digital Vault
Every manager decision, regime change, and expense entry is cryptographically hashed and stored in the Digital Vault. This creates an immutable audit trail.
  • Milestone Markers: Your performance charts feature interactive markers. Hover over any "X" or "Arrow" to see the official Manager Note or Reason for Action from the Vault.
  • 30-Day Heartbeat: Your trading authorization expires every 30 days. You must enter the current Monthly Meeting Code to "Heartbeat" your account and prevent auto-halt.
Cryptographic Integrity: All vault records are SHA-256 hashed, ensuring that historical decisions cannot be altered or tampered with.

6. Participation & Security

The 9/12 Rule

You must verify attendance for 9 Strategy Briefings per year. Missing a 4th meeting (i.e., falling below the 9/12 threshold) results in revocation of trading access until compliance is restored.

Non-Custodial Security

Your money stays in your Alpaca account. The Club Orchestrator operates with "trade-only" OAuth permissions.

Zero Withdrawal Tolerance: If "Withdrawal" permissions are detected on your API connection, the system immediately severs the link and notifies you. This is a non-negotiable security measure.

7. Getting Started

  1. Access the Portal: Log in to the Uncharted Investments web application at app.unchartedinvesting.com.
  2. Link Alpaca: Complete the OAuth flow to securely connect your Alpaca brokerage account with trade-only permissions.
  3. Sync: Enter your first Validation Code from the latest Strategy Meeting to activate your node and begin receiving signals.
